It was reported before that Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing was prepping a speed boat that got inspired by the Mercedes-AMG GT S vehicle model. Well, today, both companies have officially taken the veil off their joint project. Dubbed the Cigarette Racing 50 Marauder GT S, the concept boat has appeared in front of the public during this year’s Miami International Boat Show event.
Taking into account the fact that the boat is heavily inspired by the aforementioned luxury sports car from the German automaker, it is only appropriate for the boat to feature a matte black exterior. In addition to that, the boat also comes with the lettering and Solarbeam yellow accents typical of the Mercedes-AMG GT S.
It turns out that the boat is actually capable of accommodating up to five passengers altogether. Unfortunately, these passengers will not be able to expect a spacious cabin. Nevertheless, they may as well be entertained by what they can possibly find inside the cabin of the boat. The interior amenities comprise things like a premium audio system, Alcantara and leather sport seats, carbon fiber trimming and even a total of four display panels with a high resolution.
When asked about the technical specifications of the luxury boat, both companies remain tight-lipped. The companies simply mention that by taking advantage of a couple of Mercury engines, the boat is actually capable of hitting the mark of 217 km/h in terms of top speed.
As mentioned earlier, the boat is actually being shown off at the 2015 Miami International Boat Show as a concept. Nonetheless, both Mercedes-AMG and the Cigarette Racing are actually willing to sell the boat. In this case, the companies are asking for a price tag of no less than $1.2 million. Needless to say, that is a whole lot of money involved there.
