Behold the SEAT Alhambra Facelift!

SEAT may not be as popular an automaker as the likes of Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Toyota and others, but the company also has great vehicles of its own. As a matter of fact, it has just officially taken the veil of the Alhambra MPV facelift.

Now owned by the German automaker Volkswagen, SEAT has unveiled the facelifted variant of its MPV following the reveal performed by VW during last month’s Geneva Motor Show event. As can be seen on the adjacent images here, the facelift may not have much to offer to keen buyers. The Spanish automaker has treated the MPV with only minor visual changes. These changes consist of newly designed headlamps that now utilize LED technology, a revised radiator front grille and also a set of newly designed alloy wheels. Yet, inside the cabin, customers will find such amenities as a new trim with chrome accents, enhanced center console and a new steering wheel.

SEAT is also making sure this time that the engine lineups for its aforementioned MPV model will all meet the Euro 6 emission standard. Speaking of the engine lineups, customers will be rewarded with a 2.0L TDI engine with power output ranging from 115 PS to 220 PS for the range topping variant of the model. The Spanish company even goes as far as to claim that its engines are now more efficient by fifteen percent when compared to that of the predecessor. Buyers of the vehicle will also get to enjoy an automatic DSG dual clutch transmission (DCT) system.

As if all those are not sufficient just yet to attract potent buyers, SEAT is also offering its Easy Connect vehicle infotainment system on board. In addition to that, the car comes standard with a multi-collision braking system. For customers with extra cash, they can also receive DCC adaptive chassis control and blind spot sensor.
