Bentley Motors had previewed the Bentley Mulsanne Convertible Concept at Pebble Beach last year. However, the company has yet not been able to decide as to how to expand the Bentley Mulsanne line-up in the future.
The car was launched as a direct competitor to the Rolls-Royce Phantom but it does not have that much versions as the Phantom. This could mean that the competition may not turn in the favour of Bentley due to lack of variety and hence the sales could be lesser than the Phantom.
Wolfgang Schreiber, the company Chief, recently said in an interview that the convertible version of the car was one of the options for expansion and there are two more concepts that the company might develop.
He also said that the convertible version has received a positive response but the company still needs to examine what they actually need for Mulsanne lineup.
