BMW M135i edited by Tuningwerk

Well known aftermarket specialist Tuningwerk from Germany has recently released a performance package based on the BMW M135i.

The standard BMW M135i comes fitted with 320 HP (235 kW) six-cylinder 3.0-liter engine but Tuningwerk felt and realized that there was scope for improvement and so made the changes which resulted in increase of the output to 450 HP (331 kW). The changes made include modifying the turbocharger, installing an extra watercooler, larger intercooler, a custom exhaust, ECU remap and a 4.5 kg lighter flywheel.

The tuner did not reveal the performance details but the stock M135i with 320 HP can achieve the 0-62 mph (0-100 kmph) sprint in 4.9 seconds and comes with an electronically capped top speed of 155 mph (250 kmph). So we can expect this modified version to be faster to complete the 62 mile sprint as compared to the standard version.

Other features offered for the BMW M135i include a KW Clubsport suspension, a limited slip differential, a performance braking system with in-house racing brake pads and steel flex pipes. The car now comes with new 18-inch wheels covered in Dunlop Direzza semi-slicks. In the interiors, the cabin has received Recaro seats and an optional roll cage for added safety.
