Bugatti preview at Techno Classica 2013

The ongoing Techno Classica Essen 2013 saw Bugatti attending the show and they have showcased two of their rarest models, the Bugatti Type 57 C Coupé and Type 57 Ventoux. The Molsheim-based supercar maker is also showing Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse which is the fastest convertible car.

The Bugatti Type 57 was introduced at the 1934 Paris Automobile Salon and was quite influenced by Jean Bugatti, the son of the company’s founder Ettore Bugatti. Within a span of six years, the company had built 680 units.

The Type 57 C Coupe being showcased is built with 160PS and is among the 106 units that were made in the year 1939. The car is owned by the family of the first owner and has already run 12,000 km.

The white Type 57 Ventoux is one of the 150 units that were built and the last one to leave the factory in 1937. The car was sold at 103,000 French francs at that time.

The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse which was introduced in 2012 comes with 8 liter W16 engine with 1200 PS and 1,500 Nm of torque. The car can touch 100 kmph in mere 2.6 seconds and the price of the car is €1.79 million inclusive of taxes.
