Soon enough, the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) is going to kick off in Detroit, US. With that being said, quite a few automakers out there are already either teasing or fully revealing their upcoming vehicle models ahead of the said event. The automaker Buick is no exception to this rule. The company has now officially give the public a glimpse of what the Buick Cascada may well become in the future.
Up to this very moment, the automaker in question is still keeping its lips tightly sealed when asked about further details of its version of the Vauxhall/Opel Cascada. Nevertheless, it can be seen in the teaser image quite clearly that a 4-seater with an open roof exists and is wandering around a seemingly floating road.
For those who may not have had the chance to read any of our previous reports in respect to this upcoming vehicle model from the company, well, it is wiser not to expect too many changes to be available on the vehicle, especially in terms of its visual styling. It is more than likely that the upcoming Buick Cascada convertible will have just a revised waterfall front grille besides a Buick badge.
In terms of performance, the car is most likely to boast a 1.6L engine with four cylinders. This engine should be able to burst out 197 hp of power output. Alternatively, a 2.0L turbocharged engine with four cylinders may be available as well, with a total power of 250 hp.
Besides the upcoming Buick Cascada convertible, the teaser image that the company has released also shows a number of other vehicle models. Among these vehicle models is the Buick Envision crossover for the US market, it seems. The vehicle made its debut last year in China, packing a 2.0L turbocharged engine with four cylinders. The engine is capable of delivering 256 hp and 353 Nm of power and torque.
