Name to be changed after redesign

The invention of new model CT6 is formally proclaimed by Cadillac. It is estimated to be sold in late 2015. Like Audi A8 and Mercedes S-Class, it is definite to take its place in the list of luxurious cars.

Cadillac reserved from giving extra information. But, Travis Hester, the chief engineer of CT6 has given added information by saying that it will be the most swift and lightest cars of the lavish sedans. He also defined that the sedan will have rear wheel drive which will have a completely new structural design. Each part of the luxurious top class CT6 is made up of varied materials that are most excellent and efficient materials.

In addition to the announcement of the name, Cadillac also authenticated that they will take up naming convention. The prefix (CT) and suffix (6) of the name represents the size and the car’s position in the pecking ladder. Uwe Ellinghaus, the chief marketing officer said that, as the portfolio is expanded, we can lend a hand to the customers by placing the sedans inside a structure, which will enable them to do comparison of the cars that are in showroom and the market across. He also added up that we just change the name of a product when it is redesigned.
