Cadillac to launch eight models by the end of 2017

As per a recent report, Cadillac will launch eight new or redesigned models by the end of the year 2017.

Not much detail is available as of now but multiple sources have hinted that most of the new additions will be crossovers. The redesigned SRX is scheduled to be unveiled in early 2016 and will apparently be joined by two more crossovers in 2017, of which one will be smaller than the SRX, while the other is rumored to be larger model.

Counting some other models, the CTS is scheduled to arrive in October while the ELR will be launched in January next year. The redesigned Escalade will go on sale next spring and will be further followed by an ATS Coupe somewhere in 2015. Last but not least, the LTS flagship is also scheduled to go on sale later in the same year 2015.

However as per some reports, Cadillac has delayed plans for an entry-level model that would slot below the ATS for which the reasons have not been stated. If we recall, the company had hinted at the possibly of a compact car by introducing the Urban Luxury concept at the Los Angeles Auto Show held in 2010.
