One of the true vintage and unique models of 1950s, the 1956 Aston Martin DB2/4 MkII Supersonic by Carrozzeria Ghia with the chassis number AM300/1/1132 will be up for auction. The auction would take place on November 12 and would be conducted by RM Auctions.

The model was commissioned by one of the members of the Vanderbilt family and was publicly displayed in 1956 at the Turin Auto Salon. It spent its first few years in the French Riviera and was driven by American Formula 1 driver Harry Schell.

The one-off Aston Martin DB2 has also appeared in Life magazine and has won awards at Pebble Beach. It was recently restored and it is expected that it may fetch a price of around $ 1.5 – $ 2 million. It would be a privilege to own such a vintage car and a matter of pride whoever gets a chance to buy it.
