Chevrolet considering an F-150 SVT Raptor competitor?

There are rumors that Chevrolet is debating a Silverado-based challenger after we heard that Ram is considering a Ford F-150 SVT Raptor competitor.

GM’s manager of creative design for full-size truck interiors told Edmunds that he can’t comment on anything going forward as of now, but their leadership is very aware of not only the Ford Harley-Davidson pickup, but also the Raptor. Chris Hilts went on to say the trucks sell well for Ford so GM is definitely looking at more variants.

Chevrolet appears to be considering both the models in luxury and performance segments, but Hilts also confirmed that the GMC Sierra Denali will remain the king of the hill as the company does not have much plans currently for a model that would be positioned above it.
