Chevrolet News: 2012 Camaro will get reworked interior

by Ron Grant

A recent report revealed the plans of Chevrolet to significantly rework the interiors of the 2012 Camaro.

A GM tipster via Straightline hinted that most of the changes will e geared to improve the car’s dashboard. Most likely, we can expect better quality of materials, design lines, and details.

If you will recall, the muscle car was criticized for below par materials and over styling of the components. One major blow to the interior of the Camaro is the steering wheel that looks excellent but it really does not count because it is very difficult with the grip. Another thumbs down are the auxiliary gauges mounted on the console which looks nice with the retro touch but not easy to read.

So why is the car manufacturer waiting for 2012? According to the GM insider, the company might time everything with the release of the 556 horsepower Camaro Z28.
