Chevrolet Officially Unveils the Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo

As you know, Gran Turismo is a car racing franchise exclusive to the PlayStation platform. Now, players of the Gran Turismo 6 can already enjoy getting behind the wheel of the Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo from Chevy to enter their races within the game.

This new concept vehicle from Chevrolet is bound to be included in the next 1.15 update to the car racing series mentioned above. Players can get their hands on the car by either purchasing it with their in-game currency or they can also record a lap time within a seasonal event – which is new, by the way. However, players will have to hurry as the car will be available for acquiring for a limited time period only.

Well, the Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is a concept vehicle which tries to take advantage of an advanced propulsion system that utilizes laser technology. According to Chevy, this system is inspired by the very advanced efforts designated towards space travel and the design of aircrafts in the potentially foreseeable future.

Chevrolet claims that the Chaparral 2X is capable of achieving a top speed of 386 km/h. And, when it is in a stationary position, pushing the car to the limit of 100 km/h is not quite likely to take more than 1.5 seconds at all. Wow, as you can see, this must be a hyper powered car.
