Citroen DS crossover, hatchback and flagship sedan in the works – report

by SpeedLux

As per a latest report, Citroen’s DS lineup will soon expand and it will add three new models.

Speaking with one of the car site, Citroen’s Eric Apode said that in 2014, the company will launch the SUV and it will be a worldwide car but launched first in China. He went on to say that in 2015, they will launch a new DS hatchback, which will also be a global car.

Apode was coy on giving details about the statement, but when pushed for more details, Apode confirmed that the hatchback will fit below the DS4 and be about the same size as the Volkswagen Golf and Peugeot 308. He further stated that shortly after the hatchback is launched, the company has plans to introduce a large sedan that will be positioned between the BMW 3- and 5-Series. It will likely come with dimensions of 4800mm long and battle the long-wheelbase 3-Series.

On the other hand, talking about the crossover, it will be fitted between the Audi Q3 and Q5 and its pricing also will be such that it will match its positioning.
