For those who may not have noticed just yet, the automaker Jeep has officially introduced its Grand Cherokee SRT Red Vapor Limited Edition model since September last year. Now, just several months afterwards, the company has officially unveiled the price that customers will have to pay to be eligible for this vehicle. For the customers in the UK market, they will have to spend no less than GBP64,999 for the car in question.
Just as a reminder, the car made its public debut during the 2014 Paris Motor Show event. At the stage of the event, the vehicle came with 5-spoke alloy wheels measuring 20 inches diagonally which were painted in Black Vapor chrome paint job. In addition to those wheels, the car also featured glossy black accents and the car was finished in the Metallic Red hue. Now, however, the automaker is also offering two additional hues, which are, Bright White and Brilliant Black.
As for the interior of the vehicle, buyers can expect suede upholstery painted in Radar Red and features red stitching in addition to a steering wheel wrapped in the Black Laguna leather. Other notable components include such luxury amenities as the UConnect vehicle infotainment system with an 8.4-inch display and 3D navigation system, hands-free and voice recognition technologies, power tailgate, rear light bar, blind spot monitoring system, cross-path detection function, adaptive cruise control, Bluetooth audio streaming function and a sound system by Harman Kardon, featuring a total of 19 825-Watt speakers.
For the performance, the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Red Vapor Limited Edition counts on a 6.4L V8 HEMI engine that delivers 461 bhp and 625 Nm of power and torque. The engine is to be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and the company’s Quadra-Trac 4WD drivetrain. This gives the car a top speed of 257 km/h and an acceleration time of 5 seconds to run from 0 to 100 km/h. Safety measures like SRT anti-lock performance disc brakes and comfort features like active noise cancellation, active damping suspension and fuel saver technology are available as well.
