Corvette ZR1 Stingray Could Have 700 HP

Corvette ZR1 Stingray may have a turbocharged engine as per Motor Trend. The upcoming Z06 will continue to have a large 7.0 liter turbocharged engine and it may have an output generation capacity of around 600 hp.

However the final confirmation and decision will be taken only after the new ZR1 and its turbocharged V8 engine details are finalized.

In other words, it can be said that ZR1 may have a variable valve timing and also cylinder deactivation. This combined setup may help the engine to achieve power of mammoth 675 hp or even 700 hp.

It sounds really exciting and one will have to wait and watch what the Corvette ZR1 Stingray will have under its hood and whether the idea of having such huge powerful engine will be actually implemented.
