Disco Volante from Touring Superleggera, Geneva Motor Show

by SpeedLux

Touring Superleggera has released a fully working version of Disco Volante in the ongoing Geneva Motor Show 2013. The car was actually launched in the previous year’s Geneva Motor Show and it received lots of praises thanks to its some superb styling and exteriors.

The vehicle is based on Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. It will feature similar front-seated V8 engine and the output generation capacity would be 450 hp and 480 Nm of torque at 4,750 rpm. The car will be able to accelerate to 100 kmph in just over 4 seconds and will have a top speed of 292 kmph.

The engine will be connected to the electro-actuated 6-speed sequential shift gearbox instead of regular manual transmission one. The pricing details are not available but the same could be somewhere around $ 100,000 and is currently in the production phase.
