Donkervoort Announces the D8 GTO

The automaker Donkervoort may not be as famous as most of the global automakers out there, such as, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Ferrari or Lamborghini. Yet, this does not necessarily mean that the company does not have the ability to produce an attractive and capable vehicle model. As a matter of fact, the automaker in question has now teased the public with a teaser image. According to the company, the vehicle depicted in the image will be the company’s so-called D8 GTO Blister Berg Edition model.

For those who may not know, the Blister Berg is actually a circuit. This special edition vehicle model from Donkervoort is named after that very circuit in order to pay homage to the circuit. As it turns out, the D8 GTO manages to acquire a new lap record that can be achieved by such street legal production cars in this particular circuit.

The company claims that its upcoming vehicle model will sport a unique front fascia which will feature a new nose design. In addition to that, the Donkervoort D8 GTO Blister Berg Edition will be treated with dozens of updates and developments as well in the future.

Unfortunately, the automaker refuses to provide further details in respect to this particular vehicle model that it is prepping at the moment. According to the latest reports, those who are interested in potentially spending their hard earned cash on the vehicle will be able to view it in full details first hand sometime next year. Yet, those who want to take the car home to their garage will have to rush, it seems. The thing is that the Donkervoort D8 GTO Blister Berg Edition will be built only as many as fourteen examples. Taking that into consideration, it is obvious how one hell of an exclusive vehicle model the vehicle in question will prove to be.
