Following months of expectation, Elon Musk has finally revealed the first look of a real Model 3.
Tesla has been dealing with a minimal production run of the Model 3, its new electrical vehicle that is expected to be offered to the public at the end of the month.
On Saturday, Musk tweeted photos of the first Model 3 to roll off the automaker’s assembly line in Fremont.

Musk posted that the rights to the first Model 3 car were acquired by Ira Ehrenpreis, founder and managing partner of venture capital firm DBL Partners.
However Ehrenpreis “gave those rights to me as my 46th bday present,” Musk noted.
With its $35,000 base cost, the Model 3 has been promoted as a more affordable and more consumer-friendly version of the high-end Model S. The new sedan is smaller sized however is expected to include the same self-drive hardware and will contain a range of about 215 miles.

The company is anticipated to make 30 Model 3 vehicles by the end of the month. Production is set to increase to 20,000 vehicles a month by December, for a rate of 240,000 per year.
At least 380,000 individuals have put down refundable $1,000 deposits for Model 3s, however Tesla hasn’t publicly upgraded that number since early 2016.
“It matters to us that you took a risk on a new car company,” Musk posted on Twitter previously this month. “We won’t forget.”
The first round of consumers will have just 2 options for the Model 3, Musk stated at a latest shareholders meeting: color and wheel size.
