It was quite a pleasant surprise for automobile lovers as one of the world’s most rare Lamborghini models: Roadster VERSACE is on sale at the eBay US website. The car is a second hand one and has an odometer reading of only 1,211 miles (1,949 km). But the surprising part is yet to come. The car has been priced at a mere $635,777 or €467,758 (approx.) according to today’s exchange rates. The word ‘mere’ has been used to signify a cut down of about $300,000 from the original price tag of $1million.
Roadster VERSACE model of the Murcielago LP640 , originally produced in the year 2006, hit the US roads in 2008. The project had a tag of ‘ad persona’ attached to it, allowing the customers to have their personal requests and tunings fulfilled.
The VERSACE edition of the car uses the same 6.5-liter V12 engine as original edition of the car. Yet the car takes away the prize for its bespoke interiors and transparent engine hood. The seats are covered in black leather signifying its class, while other parts of the car like the central console, the instrument panel and doors are clad in grain Nappa leather. This leather is especially hand-embroidered using the Versace Greek fret motif. The car comes with a number of accessories including an exclusive Versace luggage set, materialized by black matte calf skin.
Though the person selling his/her car is mum about the luggage set, the car possesses Nero Porseus leather seats stitched by Versace and an option of carbon fiber-trimmed interior. The first client of the car has asked for an e-gear transmission than the conventional six speed manual gearbox.
