Nevada Highway Patrol troopers attended a fatal crash near Mesquite, Nevada which has left one person dead and others injured Wednesday afternoon.
Around 5:30 p.m. a tractor-trailer that was going Northbound veered into another tractor-trailer on the shoulder. The crash caused by the alleged semi-truck who was at fault swerved and crossed into the Southbound traffic, where it hit a third semi-truck. The third truck crashed with a passenger vehicle also heading Southbound.
One driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two people in the passenger car were admitted to a local hospital in St. George, Utah.
The driver of the third semi-truck traveling Southbound suffered small injuries.
Northbound travel was resumed before 10 p.m.
The Clark County Coroner’s office is yet to identify the driver killed in the crash pending notification to their family.
