Only recently, the racetrack version of the Ferrari LaFerrari has been spotted undergoing some sorts of tests in its home country, Italy. The Italian prancing horse was spotted on the Adria Raceway. A week earlier, the car was also spotted pushing its engine to the limit around the Paul Ricard circuit, a circuit that you can find in France. This time around, however, not only the exterior design of the car was spotted but also its interior design and elements.
Despite the heavy camouflage that the Italian automaker uses to wrap the car, it is still clear that the car is the LaFerrari XX and it comes with a 2-part rear wing. A number of sources out there believe that Ferrari will finally be taking the veil off the LaFerrari XX somewhere between December 3 and 6, 2014. This is when the Ferrari Finali Mondiali event takes place in Abu Dhabi.
For your information, the LaFerrari XX is actually an experimental version of the standard LaFerrari. Judging by the latest reports, the car will feature a 6.3L V12 engine combined with an electric motor that Ferrari has tweaked somehow. The power output is expected to lie around 1,050 hp, which is contrary to the previous reports. Before this, Antonello Coletta, the person at the helm of the sporting activity division at Ferrari, told media that the XX might not receive any power upgrades considering that even the standard version of the model was already offering a total power output very close to 1,000 hp, 950 hp to be exact. Now, as you can see, this is no longer the case because the XX actually offers 1,050 hp in terms of its power output. Last but not least, reports suggest that there will only be 30 examples of this particular prancing horse model that the Italian automaker will ever produce.
