At the Los Angeles Auto Show, Fiat previewed it’s new creation called held the world premiere of its 500L Trekking, pretty much crossover-flavoured look of the 500L that launched in Europe on this year.
The car is a five-seat, five-door version of the 500 offering 660mm more length, plus 15mm more in height and it’s width over the 500 hatchback, resulting in 42% more interior space, according to Fiat.
It’s powered by the 1.4-litre turbocharged MultiAir four-cylinder engine found in the 500 Abarth. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual gearbox as well as six-speed dual dry clutch transmission.
Fiat also offers the 500L Trekking with flared wheel arches, body & bumper moldings, all-wheel- drive, also larger 17-inch wheels for those who wants tougher look.
For now, it’s manufactured at Fiat Automobiles factory, in Kragujevac, Serbia. The 2014 Fiat 500L and Fiat 500L Trekking models will be launched at North American showrooms by mid-2013. Pictures are given as follow, stay in touch.
