The European division of the American automaker, Ford, has made an official announcement that hints at a new model for the company’s Galaxy vehicle lineup. The company claims that the car will start rolling out in the middle of this year. Well, Ford Europe does not have too much to reveal about the van model in question as of now. Nonetheless, considering that the car will roll out in the middle of this year, Ford Europe may as well mean that the car is headed to this year’s Geneva Motor Show event. The event, by the way, will kick off in March this year.
Yes, it is true that Ford is still keeping its lips sealed in terms of the technical specifications of the vehicle. However, thanks to some spy photos that have been made available all over the internet, we now know what the van will possibly look like. To begin with, it will feature a larger body when compared to its predecessor. In addition to that, the car will be more stylish as well than its predecessor. Unfortunately, the prototypes captured in the spy photos are wrapped in heavy camouflage. Nonetheless, rumor has it the vehicle will borrow plenty of styling cues from some recent MPV models, such as the S-Max. As for its engine, customers can expect the engine used on the Ford Mondeo, it seems. This means that customers will be able to choose from a host of diesel and petrol engines to go for.
As it turns out, the Ford Galaxy is not the only vehicle model that the American automaker will be launching in the near future. There are also some other models instead, such as, Ford Mustang, Ford Focus ST/ST Diesel, Ford C-MAX/Grand C-MAX, Tourneo Connect, S-Max, Transit Connect, Ranger and EcoSport.
