Ford Fiesta RS will certainly arrive in time for the Fiesta’s 40th anniversary in 2017.
Germany’s Autobild says that the Fiesta RS will be powered by a 1.6 litre turbocharged four-cylinder gas engine creating as much as 183kW.
That’s the same 1.6 litre four-pot that powers the present Feast ST, with power boosted 36kW for the attractive RS.
The ST has been highly-acclaimed because it showed up on the scene as a concept at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show, as well as there may not be space in Ford’s line-up for another RS design to below the Focus.
The Focus RS flaunts all-wheel-drive and will certainly come with a beginning price of $50,990 when it arrives in Australia next year. The Fiesta ST by comparison starts from $25,990.
