Last week, Ford India on announced extension on extended warranty and service period for all Ford cars until June 30, 2020.
The automaker informed that the extension is valid for the customers whose warranty is set to expire in the period of March 15 to May 30, 2020.
The move comes with a slew of measures to support the consumers amid the coronavirus outbreak.
According to Ford, customers who have booked or plan to book a new car until April 30 will get full price protection at the time of delivery.
The automaker has also been providing free of cost roadside assistance to all Ford consumers, including those who haven’t subscribed to RSA services.
Ford has also set up a team at its automobile plants to produce face shields to be distributed to frontline workers such as doctors, paramedics, sanitary workers and emergency staff, the company stated.
About 10,363 people in India have been confirmed as being infected with the coronavirus. The virus has killed 339 people in the country.
