Ford B-Max Production Version’s Interior and Exterior [New Spy Shots]

by Andrew Randall

Opel beware because a new competior for the Meriva is in town and it seems ready for any fight! Yes, you guessed, we’re talking about Ford B-Max, a car that was unveiled, in concept form, at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, providing an early preview of exciting innovations from Ford in the European small car market.

About a month ago we’ve shown you some spy photos of the baby brother to the C-Max caught during testing in Germany. Now we have something more for you… below you can see the very first interior photo and some new spy pics of the exterior. As we can see, it looks very close to the concept that Ford showed us at the Geneva Car Show earlier this year. The B-Max has also kept the rear sliding doors that make it really practical at narrow parking places. A feature all parents with kids will appreciate. This prototype also wears the real rear lights.

Based on the Ford Fiesta platform, the B-Max will be just about 11 cm longer then the Fiesta. The car maker has said that one of the engine options in the B-Max will be a 1.0 liter three cylinder EcoBoost engine with both direct injection and turbo.

More details are on the road, so stay tuned. In the meantime you can check out our photogallery below and feel free to share you opinions using the comment section after the jump.
