Ford had recently filed a trademark application for the “Mach 1” moniker and so Top Speed has grabbed this opportunity to create some renderings of what the model could look like.
Drawing cues from the Mustang Boss 302, the Mach 1 has been equipped with a revised grille and an adjustable front splitter. Other highlights that the tuner has fitted in the rendering include special alloy wheels, body side graphics, a larger rear spoiler and a four tailpipe exhaust system.
Ford has not revealed much detail about future Mustang variants but there have speculations doing rounds which suggest that the Mach 1 could be equipped with a sport-tuned suspension, a revised interior and a 5.0-liter V8 engine. Again there is no word on the specifications but the company has previously stated that the 5.0-liter V8 engine will generate an output in excess of 420 hp (313 kW) and 390 lb-ft (528 Nm) of torque.
We have to say that the rendering made by Top Speed looks stunning with red exterior paint but how close it would be actual model, we will have to wait till the company reveals some further details about Mach 1.
