Ford Releases First Focus RS Video

by SpeedLux

Are you, by any chance, wondering what kind of performance that the high-tech Ford Focus RS can possibly offer? If so, here comes the answer for you, right from the American automaker in charge of building the vehicle itself, Ford. The Blue Oval has taken the liberty of releasing the first video that showcases what the car is capable of.

This first official video of the aforementioned vehicle model from America comes along with a simple explanation from the company. Ford says that it has decided to take the Focus RS on the mountain roads for a spin. As can be seen in the adjacent video, the car seems to be pretty capable of tackling the twisted roads of the mountain, even when the roads are wet. The Blue Oval does not forget, either, to highlight a number of the major features that the vehicle has been equipped with when it comes to the technical spec sheet of the vehicle. One of these major features, it turns out, is an all-wheel-drive (AWD) drivetrain that features a dynamic torque vectoring system. In addition, the car also features four driving modes for customers to choose from.

The Ford Focus RS mentioned above is reportedly the most powerful model of all Focus in this generation. The car was first announced in February this year and made its official world debut during the recent Geneva Motor Show event of 2015. Under the hood, the car packs a turbocharged 2.3L EcoBoost engine, which the company also uses on its Mustang vehicle lineups. This engine sends 315 bhp of power in total to all four wheels of the Ford Focus RS.
