Four dead after two-vehicle crash in Panhandle, Florida

Four people were killed after a two-vehicle crash in Panhandle, Florida.

The crash took place when a car driving in the wrong direction in the Panhandle struck another vehicle, causing it to engulf and killing four people.

The sedan was traveling south in the northbound lane of U.S. 231 when it struck another car. The impact caused it to engulf and the second sedan was damaged.

The driver of the first sedan was pronounced dead at the scene.

Others who were killed in the crash include the driver and two passengers in the car that was engulfed.

Two passengers from the first car were hospitalized.

Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
