Four people have died after a wrong-way crash on Sunday night on an Eastern Carolina highway.

The crash took place around 10:45 p.m. on the U.S. 70 Bypass west of La Grange and just inside Wayne County when Roy Mozingo, of Kinston, was headed east in the westbound lanes of the highway when his small SUV crashed head-on with a westbound vehicle.

The 68-year-old Mozingo died in the crash, and also the other driver and two passengers in that vehicle.

They have been identified as driver Treyvon Allen, 21, of Stanwood, Washington,

The rear passengers were identified as Aaron Judd, 17, and Reianna Jones, 15, both from Holly Springs.

Another passenger in the vehicle was also hit but survived the crash.

Troopers say 27-year-old Antonio Winston, of Holly Springs, is in stable condition.

North Carolina Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
