Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV) unleashes its first ever concept car at the 2011 Australian International Motor Show in Melbourne.
FPV went for all-blacked out look for this GT muscle car.This dark look is combined with an interesting stripe package on the rear wing, bonnet, bodysides and the rear diffuser.The 19-inch one-piece forged alloy rims wear also the same paint treatment and this thing gives one more sinister note to this car.
The balck theme it continues also inside the car,with black leather and all-black dash treatment that includes the command centre with ornaments that keep the same theme.
This new model has a track-tuned suspention and a a full stainless steel high-flow twin exhaust system exhaust finished with quad black exhaust tips. The large brake ducts are incorporated into the modified front facia.This performance brake package includes larger six-piston brake calipers up fornt and four-piston brake calipers at the rear, which keep the same dark theme.
Of course,every car needs a heart and the heart of this model,the source of power is the FVP GT’s supercharged 5.0-liter Boss V8 churning out 335kW (449-horses) and 570Nm (420.4 lb-ft) of peak torque.
Ford Performance Vehicles General Manager Rod Barrett said that the company will gauge public opinion at the show, no matter how dismal will car look.
