On display at the Festival of Speed at Goodwood was the British supercar Aston Martin One 77. The specialty of this car could be summed up in three folds. One being the name in itself, Aston Martin, the second being the price tag which stands at a cool 1.34 million euro. And the third is the limited number of this car that is available to date, which stands at 77.
The Aston Martin One-77 had been located at a discreet undisclosed location away from the normal supercar Paddock where the main even was taking place. The supercar was however part of the lineup that went for a hill climb event. The Aston Martin that came up seemed production ready by the looks of it. The rear wing came out after reaching a certain speed limit, the body work which was metallic black also appeared near complete and the interior work too seemed to have been done up seems can be headed towards the production lines.
With a top speed of 354.86 kmph that is 220 mph it would be the fattest Aston Martin as of now. Powering the supercar would be a mammoth 7.3 liter capacity V12 engine which delivers an impressive 710 hp of peak power and 750 Nm or 553 lb-ft of max torque. The transmission system is an automated manual six speed one and features Auto shift Manual / Select Shift Manual (ASM/SSM) electro hydraulic control system. The time that the limited edition Aston Martin will take to reach three figure speeds, accelerating to 100 kmph (62 mph) from zero is just 3.5 seconds.
