GTbyCITROËN concept runs streets of London in real life

by Alex

GTbyCITROËNGTbyCITROËN concept debuted at last year’s Paris Motor Show. It is a collaboration between the French automaker Citroën and the Japanese racing simulation developer Polyphony Digital.

Yesterday this stunning concept took the streets of central London to recreate part of the ‘street circuit’ featured in the Gran Turismo.

GTbyCITROËN concept is 4.96m long and just 1.09m high. with an impressive supercar design sporting wide air intakes, rear air-diffuser, horizontal LED headlamps, gull wing doors and diamond-effect 21inch aluminum wheels. Inside the cabin offers a refined racing experience with copper, steel and black leather finishes combined with hi-tech racing controls.

Even though the car was designed only for the virtual world it will very likely enter very limited(20 units) production. This supercar would use a V8 either from Chevy or Ford and cost around 1 million euros (1.4 million USD).

The GTbyCITROËN will be shown again at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (3-5 July) in UK and will climb the famous 1.16-mile Goodwood Hill as part of the Sunday Times Supercar Run.
