High-Performance Version Land Rover Discovery Sport Car – Under Consideration

The Land Rover design director Gerry McGovern says that they are going to launch the traditional version of their Land Rover Discovery Sports Car during 2015. And at the same time, the director of programs of Land Rover, Murray Dietsch announces that they are considering about the possibility of introducing the all-new Land Rover Discovery Sport Car, with the torque-tastic diesel. Of course, this may take a longer duration and at present, the company is concentrating on their next near release, the regular version of Land Rover Discovery Sport, in 2015. The new project may commence, after the release of the next model car. However, the director feels that the release of the high-end diesel car may take off, based on the performance and sales of the traditional version of their sports car. There is an idea with the company to create their new high-end car to rival the Audi SQ5.

Even if everything goes according to their plan, the new sports car may be available only after the end of 2016 and it is a long way to go. The engine of the sports car may be with 3.0 – liter SDV 6 that is the range of Rover Sports, with 292 HP and 600 Nm.
