The South Korean automaker, Hyundai, is known to be prepping a new model Azera. Now, the company has decided to release more details and images of the vehicle it is working on. The new details and images are released after the car bows to the public at the Miami International Auto Show in Miami, Florida, US. This new vehicle, however, is a facelift version of the already existing model. Still, it comes with quite a few tweaks that are worth considering. For a starter, the 2015 Hyundai Azera facelift sports a pair of new LED fog lamps, attached on to the car’s new front bumper. The front grille has been treated with a new design as well.
Unfortunately, however, rumor has it the LED fog lamps will not be available across all variants of the model, only certain variants. Yet, moving to the rear fascia of the car, it comes with a newly designed rear bumper. Also, the car comes with a set of redesigned 18-inch alloy wheels.
Stepping into the cabin, owners of the car will be greeted by illuminated sill plates for the doors, a redesigned transmission shift lever and also a new infotainment system which features an 8-inch display panel. For the latter, it comes with a host of new features, such as, enhanced Google search feature for points of interest, a split-screen display, Pandora capability and a whole lot more to mention.
In terms of comfort, the 2015 Hyundai Azera facelift is equipped with heated seats both at the front and the rear compartments, dual-zone climate control and leather interior upholstery. The car is coming with a host of advanced technologies as well. The latest version of the Blue Link telematics system is one of these technologies.
Hyundai seems to have paid detailed attention to safety driving features as well. Its upcoming Azera comes available with features like the Lane Departure Warning, Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Forward Collision Warning, Auto High Beam Assist and Blind Spot Detection.
As for the powertrain, the 2015 Hyundai Azera facelift counts on 3.3L V6 engine capable of delivering 293 hp and 345 Nm of power output and torque, respectively. The engine is mated to 6-speed automatic gearbox.
