Audi has again won the battle for featuring in the Iron Man movie series. Audi R8 E-Tron will be featured in the upcoming Iron Man 3 movie, set to be released on May 03, 2013.
Audi was also a part of the earlier two movies of Iron Man. The movies feature Audi cars such as Audi R8, Audi R8 Spyder, Audi A8, Audi S5 and the Audi Q7.
Loren Angelo, General Manager of Brand Marketing for Audi of America, was very excited with the development and mentioned that it is a good strategic alliance between Audi and Iron Man 3. Audi has joined forces with Disney and Marvel Studios, a subsidiary of Marvel Entertainment, LLC for the release of Iron Man 3.
The Audi R8 E-Tron features four electric motors, which is one for each wheel, with combined output generation capacity of 313 hp and a torque of 4500 Nm. The car can touch the speed of 100 kmph in just 4.8 seconds and has a top speed of 22 kmph. The car can run around 250 kms in just one charge.
