The luxury automaker from Britain has yet to unveil its upcoming production version of the F-Pace officially. Nonetheless, some prying eyes have had the chance to take a shot of the vehicle while the vehicle is being tested by the British company. When it was spotted, the upcoming Jaguar F-Pace model was wearing a heavy camouflage all over its body. The car was spied testing somewhere in the northern region of Sweden, on a stretch of roads that seemed to have been frozen.
This upcoming crossover from Britain will rival the crossover from the Italian marquee, Maserati. Currently, it is likely that Jaguar is only putting some finishing touches onto its upcoming crossover model. It seems that the F-Pace will be benefiting from an extra set of lighting clusters on its roof.
The upcoming luxury crossover from the British soil will be counting on the iQ[AI] platform that also underpins the company’s latest XF and XE models. With that being said, chances are, this new crossover will also be treated with a number of petrol and diesel Ingenium engines that carries four inline cylinders. An S version could also be spawned, carrying a supercharged 3.0L V6 engine that delivers 340 bhp of power output in total. Better yet, it is believed that an SVR model could also be in the works. The latter is expected to offer a supercharged 5.0L V8 engine spitting out 550 bhp of power output.
The Jaguar F-Pace will enter the company’s lineup as a family sports car. It will have its global debut executed at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show. The car will then hit dealerships in either the end of this year or the beginning of next year. Jaguar claims that the vehicle will be thoroughly spacious as well as practical, being available in 4- and 5-seat variants.
