It is good and green business time for the famed British marques Jaguar and Land Rover what with demands showing a positive improvement while the company is faced with shortage problems. And in order to cater to all the present needs, the company has joined hands with Ford Motor Co. to help it meed the increased need of more engines.
Towards this, the Vice Chairman of Tata Motors Ltd. Mr. Ravi Kant revealed that Tata Motors who are the current owners of the U.K. based luxury brands has recently purchased “considerably much more” engines than expected from Ford. The chief executive officer of Jaguar Land Rover Mr. Ralf Speth spoke to the media saying that Ford is fulfilling all needs as expected by the company in delivering the engines. And the demands are justified as the sales of the Jaguar cars and Land Rover sport-utility vehicles have shot up by 59 percent. However, this increase in demand of luxurious vehicle was not just glued to this brand as the market also pushed other luxury brands like BMW and Daimler AG prompting them to uphold a better profit forecast. The Chief Executive Officer of Tata motors, Mr. Carl Peter plans to develop the two big growing economies like India and China by pulling it into the production line and developing factories in these two countries as these places attract the rich people from all over Asia. The managing director of IHS global Insight India, Deepesh Rathore marks this development as a “very positive turnaround,” which would definitely foster the demand of the luxury-vehicle segment and will be on “stronger” demand than ever.
