Jaguar Land Rover has taken wraps off its all-new midsize XF sedan called the Jaguar XFL— long-wheelbase, at the 2016 Beijing Auto Show. The vehicle has been established exclusively for the Chinese market with a focus on traveler convenience.

Name itself says a lot, the XFL will have a longer wheelbase of 3,100 mm, which will provide extraordinary legroom for travelers seated in the rear of the vehicle. The XFL is also the first car from JLR’s steady which comes pre-fitted with its brand-new cabin air ionisation technology in addition to four-zone environment control.

Dr Ralf Speth, president at JLR stated in Beijing on 25 April, “China continues to be an essential market for Jaguar Land Rover and we are delighted to introduce our very first locally-built Jaguar here at the Beijing Car Show. Created exclusively for our critical Chinese clients, the Jaguar XFL is bespoke to this market.”

JLR entered into China more than one decade earlier and has more than 190 functional dealerships apart from 6 training academies and 3 Land Rover Experience centres. The new introduction will be JLR’s very first locally-manufactured automobile which shows the firm’s long-term commitment to the Chinese market.

The Jaguar XFL will be available on sale in the 2nd half of 2016. It will be made in China’s very first purpose-built aluminium body shop at the Chery Jaguar Land Rover manufacturing facility located in Changshu, Jiangsu province in China.
