The companies in the country of China have been very well known for their ability – and seemingly hobby – to copy products manufactured by brands from other countries around the world. This time, an automaker from China has taken the liberty of wholly imitating the design of the Picanto compact city car from the South Korean automaker, KIA. The Chinese automaker calls its creation – or should we say imitation – the Yogomo 330.
To tell the truth, this creation from the Chinese automaker is an outrageous imitation of the South Korean product, to say the least. If those taking a look at the car are not a car enthusiast at all, they may very well be fooled by the Chinese automaker and its car. Everything looks to be completely identical at a glance. However, for those with more careful and trained eyes, they will not take long to notice how dodgy the construction of the vehicle is. For an instance, there is a huge gap around the wheels and even the doors of the vehicle do not have proper alignment.
Interestingly enough, there is no exhaust pipe to find anywhere on the car in question. As it turns out, the car is actually an electric vehicle (EV) model, hence the absence of the muffler. Customers interested in buying the vehicle in question will be able to choose whether they want to use a 7.5kW or a 13 kW electric motor. This motor will then be paired with either a lithium-ion or a lead-acid battery. Rumor has it, one of the variants of the EV offered by the Chinese automaker can actually reach a top speed of 60 km/h and can travel a distance as far as 160 km before it will eventually run out of juice.
