Koenigsegg CCX Edition up for grabs, priced at 899,000 EUR

by SpeedLux

The official dealership of Koenigsegg located in Germany is now selling a limited-run CCX Edition and they have priced the Swedish super car at mind boggling 899,000 EUR.

Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2008, the company had made only 14 units of the CCX Edition and this one has managed to clock just 2,796 miles (4,500 km). It’s a 2008 model in left-hand drive with a carbon fiber body and wheels, while the cabin is wrapped around in leather and is adorned by a bespoke anodized aluminum trim.

Under the hood, motivation is provided by an aluminum V8 4.8-liter twin-supercharged engine generating an output of 888 hp (662 kW) and 920 Nm (678 lb-ft) of torque. The Koenigsegg CCX Edition has the capacity to accelerate to 0-62 mph (0-100 kmph) in the time of just 2.9 seconds and can hit a top speed in excess of 248 mph (400 kmph).

It is really hard to say if at this price is the vehicle worth especially when it is a used one though may not have clocked much distance. Only time will tell who will finally purchase this classic model at this price.
