Lamborghini has recently unveiled their new Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse.
Designed to bring race track emotion directly to the road, the model has been named after Lamborghini’s motorsport department and is based on the Gallardo Super Trofeo. Therefore the model comes with features such as carbon fiber components, a quick-release engine cover, a prominent rear wing, gloss black accents and tri-color stripes.
In terms of interiors, the changes are relatively limited but the cabin comes nicely equipped with an Alcantara-wrapped dashboard, carbon fiber trim, alloy pedals, racing seats and special Squadra Corse badging. The car weighs around 1,340 kg (2,954 lbs).
Just like the Gallardo Super Trofeo, the Squadra Corse also comes fitted with a V10 engine that can generate output of 570 HP (419 kW). It is well mated to a six-speed e-gear transmission which enables the super car to accelerate from 0-100 kmph (0-62 mph) in just 3.4 seconds, 0-200 kmph (0-124 mph) in 10.4 seconds and comes with a top speed of 320 kmph (199 mph).
The Gallardo Squadra Corse will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show to be held in September in Germany but we will wait for further details about the model to be revealed.
