Lamborghini has officially revealed the Veneno Roadster following a recent leak.
This model seems to be yet another ultra-exclusive model part of the company’s 50th anniversary celebrations and will be built in a limited quantity of just nine units, with a pre-tax starting price of whopping 3.3M EUR. But at this price, the model would not come with a roof since the car only comes with a rollover bar for added stability.
The Veneno Roadster will come fitted with the same Aventador-derived V12 6.5-liter engine taken from the coupe version which pumps out whopping 750 HP (552 kW) channeled to all four wheels via an ISR transmission with five selectable modes. This enables the high-performance roadster to achieve the 0-62 mph (100 kmph) in just 2.9 seconds and would be able to hit a top speed of 220 mph (355 kmph).
The model tips the scales at only 1,490 kg (3,278 lbs) which results in a power-to-weight ratio of 1.99 kg/hp (4.38 lbs/hp). The lower curb weight is the outcome of a lightweight design that includes a carbon fiber monocoque and CFRP exterior body parts, while in the interiors; the cabin is also mostly made from carbon fiber.
