Leaked drawings of the C7 Corvette hit the web

by SpeedLux

An active Corvette Forum member had recently uploaded a number of sketches of the 2014 C7 Corvette that he says someone has been sending him. The post has since been removed from the forum, the original poster, “Blue Ox,” said that,”the information I posted is less ‘public’ than was originally thought and… someone’s job could be in danger.” After it was teased a couple of times and with the front fascia leaking just a few days ago, the future generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, which is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, the images posted have surfaced on the Corvette Forum and they might just reveal the final production version of the model. But folks please keep this in your mind that, these images aren’t official.

Sources say that the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette will be powered by a 6.2 liter LT1 V8 engine, which will produce a total output of 450 BHP (336 kW) and it will have 450 lb-ft of torque (609 Nm), and the car will be able to do a 0 to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds, plus the model will also be able to return more than 26+ mpg on the highway.

Additional details are limited for the moment, but all the details will be posted on 13th January, the official date, as the company says, or you might get all the details when the model will be unveiled at the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.

Anyway have a look at the sketches, which might give you a chill down the spine!
