Lexus CT 200h UK price revealed

The starting price of the new hybrid model of the Lexus named CT 200h is £23,485. The car is open for booking orders. The car claims to be capable of 68.9 mpg and 94 g/km of CO2 emissions. SE-I, SE-L and SE-L Premier is the three spec levels that the car is being offered. Climate control, Bluetooth, 17-inch alloys, push button start and LED daytime running lights are what make up the entry level spec level. For £25,200, one would get the SE-L package which is the entry level specs added up with heated leather seats and parking sensors.

For £30,635 one gets the top level SE-L and this model has cruise control, HDD sat nav, rear parking monitor and LED headlights. The power train, Prius, has been modified in order to give smoothness and to give added power in sport mode. The acceleration specification if the car is 0 to 60 mph in 10.3 seconds which is much slower than any of its rival models including the BMW 118d. The top speed also is only 112 mph which is far lower than the BMW’s 130 mph.

“Of particular note are the first-in-segment LED headlights fitted as standard to the SE-L Premier and the availability of Lexus’s advanced radar-controlled Pre-Crash Safety (PCS) system and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). The CT 200h also adopts Lexus’s Remote Touch multi-function control, for simple and intuitive operation of ventilation, navigation, phone and vehicle set-up systems:” mentioned the press release.
