Before you rush down after the jump and type in your comments. Before you violently react. Let me clear things up that the picture we have here is the F-Sport and not the special edition from Lexus. The carmaker did not release the photos when they rolled out the press release.
Now that we have taken cared of that, let us take a look at theSpecial Edition of the IS 350C F-Sport and what is in store for those who can afford it. The special edition will be a limited run variant of the coupe-convertible Lexus packed with styling upgrades and performance enhancements. It will only come in Obsidian or Tungsten Pearl.
The IS 350C special edition will sport 19 inch forged allow luxury rims hugged by Pilot Sport tires from Michelin. The exterior will also highlight the unique grille of the F-Sport which was not available with its older sibiling.
Lexus installed a sway bar to improve the handling of the cr. Designers used Bilstein shocks and springs to lower the ride by almost an inch. Also part of the package is a brake kit which gives the driver a more confident and firmer feel when stopping the car.
We will not see any changes under the hood of the car. The powerplant is same as the standard version, a V6 3.5L that generates 306 HP.
The interiors are elegantly donned with black leather seats with blue stitching for contrast, leather on the shift knob, and specially designed floor mats with the F-Sport emblem.
Coming with the special edition tag are ventilated and heated front seats on wood trim, HID bi-xenon headlights with AFS or Adaptive Front lighting System, washers for the headlamp, and Lexus Navigation system.
The special edition F-Sport will only have a limited run of 100 units. The first few units are expected to hit the dealership floor by end of March.
