Since Infiniti introduces its second generation FX crossover, in 2009, has enjoyed modest but stable sales. During that time has helped the brand expand into new markets, including Europe and soon the rest of the world.
Now, the Japanese car maker has started rolling out information regarding the facelift version of one of the most attractive SUV models out there, 2012 FX crossover. The 2012 model year comes with subtle styling changes inspired by the 2009 Infiniti Essence Concept as well as some new trim additions.
The 2012 Infiniti FX gets revised front grille, the slightly modified fog lamps and the dark tined headlights which now feature auto-leveling and the Adaptive Front lighting System. Beside these comes the dark tinted side air vents and aluminium roof rails. This car will be fitted with the 21 inch 10-spoke design graphite finish aluminium alloys and the Iridium Blue body colour. Featuring all these, the Limited Edition 2012 Infiniti FX35, also received at the interior aluminium pedals, graphite floor mats, an HDD Navigation System, and the Around View Monitor (AMV).
The automaker also revised the Deluxe Touring Package available for the 2012 Infiniti FX35. This contain now 20 inch wheels, the exclusive Graphite Shadow body finish replacing the Platinum Graphite colour, plus features like heated and cooled front seats, and quilted leather.
The customers can choose between the Infiniti’s 309 HP 5.0-litre V8 and the 303 HP 3.5-litre V6, with both engines linking to a seven-speed automatic gearbox which shifts through steering wheel mounted paddles, as standard. Beside this, the 2012 Infiniti FX35 comes with all-wheel-drive, but customers purchasing the V6 powered version can also opt in for rear-wheel-drive.
