Maserati Kubang Unveiled at 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show: Live Photos, Video and Details

Maserati plans to introduce three new models in its line-up including two new sedans, to replace its Quattroporte flagship model and the third new Maserati will be the company’s first SUV.

We’re happy to announce you that after Maserati released the first images of its Kubang, now we can show you the first live photos from Frankfurt Auto Show, where this all-new model made its world debut.

The Italian car maker claims that its new model will address the fact that none on today’s SUVs offer the uplifting driving pleasure and luxury atmosphere given by high-end sports and luxury cars.

Maserati hints the fact that all of the major components and systems will be “unmistakably Maserati,” including the exterior styling, the suspension, the brakes, the interior and, as expected the new-generation high-tech Maserati proprietary engines. These engines will be designed in Modena by Paolo Martinelli, while the power will be transferred to the wheels through through an automatic eight-speed transmission also to be developed (or at least refined) in Modena.

Stay tuned for more details on the Kubang SUV as it draws nearer to production in the coming months.
