McLaren MP4-12C has become a quite familiar sighting amongst car lovers and it’s the rebirth of McLaren Automotive into the car production business. Official debut of the car is scheduled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed planned this weekend. A Video of the car powered by a 3.8 liter V-8 twin engine is there for us to view.

Even though McLaren calls it the 12C VP there is nothing very much new about the car. There is expected to be a few changes though before its final production debut.

The distinctive aspect of the car seen in the video can be said as the grant of honor of “pole position” that it attained for each Supercar run. Behind the wheel was F1 world champion Jenson Button and Lewis Haimilton and it was partly in their honor that the pole position was awarded.

As Antony Sherrif managing director of McLaren says “This is just the start for McLaren Automotive. In five year’s time, I expect us to be presenting a full range of innovative and performance-focused sports cars. Sports car enthusiasts all over the world will be able to enjoy McLaren cars up close and personal at events like Goodwood Festival of Speed.”
