Mega gallery: Aston Martin Rapide

Aston Martin Rapide debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. This four-door luxury high-performance coupe-style sedan will go on sale in early 2010.

It is company’s first four-door sports car, built on the extended DB9 platform.

Under the hood is a 6.0-liter V12 engine that develops 470 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 443 lb-ft of torque at 5000 rpm.

Rapide features a specifically tuned six-speed Touchtronic 2 automatic transmission in standard, allowing the driver to change gears automatically or manually via the steering column-mounted magnesium paddles.
